This project helped farmers to cultivate corn through inputs and training. There was also a component of preventing and addressing GBV potentially-high impact because most of this violence was economical and could have resulted on gained acres of land.

The project was a finalist but did not pass our verification process, here our communication to the finalsit:

Dear team of XXXX,

Thank you for your patience in awaiting this response. We encountered a problem during verification, 97% of beneficiaries either could not be contacted or did not recall benefitting from this assistance. We could only interview a single beneficiary, who did not report a substantial change in income compared to the other finalist in the food security section.

We are sure there is a good explanation for this, but since the other finalist presented more consistent results in verification, we decided to award them the prize.

We think this organization has great potential. You were a finalist because of the detailed outcome data you provided, way above what other organizations had. Please remain focused and cost-effective in your interventions and consider participating in the next contest, under any category! https://forms.gle/kXHiZ9sLw3xHARxN7
